A former Fashion Director at one of America's storied retail dynasties, Carole Hudson spent her career searching out the best in American and European fashion. From shopping high-end design houses to developing an entire floor of contemporary designers, Carole continued to successfully climb the ranks of the fashion industry directing her vision of other designers' works. She began wishing the luxury fabrics and silhouettes she envisioned in her mind could magically exist on the sales floor - at a contemporary price level.
When Carole reconnected with an old friend, designer Lee Rywkin, she knew she had found her perfect design partner. Lee, whose design pedigree from London's Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design and extensive work as a designer at Jill Stuart and French Connection, made her an ideal match. Lee had also had her own hand in shaping American fashion through her private label experience and yearned to have her own name over the door. The team of two decided to make their own mark and launch 2b. RYCH.
2b. RYCH is all about feeling fabulously "rich" in everything you wear. Well-fit pants, flirty separates, statement jackets, sexy dresses - each piece is flawlessly crafted and striking on its own or combined. The collection's name is an acronym for the beauty and luxury found in this edgy label as well as the creators' initials (RY/CH).
At the core of the brand, you'll find unexpected elements, easy-to-wear pieces and overall beautiful styles - the fit, the form and the function of each style introduces innovation in silhouette, palette and detailing.
